We booked a RiverView for a 2 day corporate retreat for 25 people. We had an amazing time, everything worked perfectly, and the overall quality of the property exceeded our expectations.
The layout of the property is a large house, a smaller cottage, and a large entertainment lodge all within about 100 feet of each other.
The house is beautiful with original artwork, hardwood floors, palatial master bedroom, and more bedrooms downstairs. There's also a sauna, hot tub, some exercise equipment (that none of us used) downstairs.
The entertainment lodge has a large kitchen (with 2 dishwashers), full size pool table, tv, enough room to seat 30+ people for dinner and also 4-5 bedrooms.
The cottage is smaller and I think 4-5 people from our group slept there. Though I didn't step foot in it, the members of the group who liked peace and quiet were thankful to be staying there.
When it comes to sleeping arrangements, there are more King, Queen, and Full size beds than there are Twin/Bunk. What that means is that if you have 25 or more people then you'll have 3 or more beds being shared.
I've booked at least 10 group houses for friends, corporate, and smaller trips. This property is by far the largest, nicest, and most well appointed. In terms of value - I looked at houses in the Hudson Valley, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, and RiverView was far and away the best value I could find.
A couple of helpful tips - bring basics like olive oil, salt, pepper and other spices if you plan to cook. We also brought extra paper towels & TP (although it was provided), we did find that useful. Also there was no hand soap, that might have been an oversight on the owner, but we did bring our own.
Lastly - the in-ceiling stereo in the entertainment lodge was in the process of being rewired. Luckily we brought our own stereo & bluetooth speakers, if you like music I suggest you do the same.

Riverview Estate was spectacular! We arrived fairly late on Friday night and were immediately greeted by a very welcoming groundskeeper. All three of the houses were among the nicest, well-kept houses I've ever been in, and Gale (the owner) was particularly friendly and ready to accommodate any needs we had. I would definitely stay here again, and will absolutely recommend it to others!

RiverView Estate by Brophy was a great place for our Thanksgiving/Birthday celebration. It is incredibly spacious with more than enough room for everyone. Especially nice was the kitchen/great room where everyone gathered most days. Equally nice was the hot tub and fireplace in the other building, which were used very frequently. Gail and her team were beyond friendly and helpful, checking in during the holiday weekend to make sure we had everything we needed; you couldn't ask for nicer hosts! Just two heads up for those who are considering staying at RiverView: 1) the kitchens, while generous in size and in most cooking needs, is shy on hand towels, oven mitts, and pantry items, and 2) the buildings are cozy and welcoming, but aging. I mentioned the need of hand towels and oven mitts to Gail and this may be a non-issue for future guests. The age of the buildings did not affect comfort in any way, but added character and charm. I hope others will enjoy RiverView as we did!

Our group came to stay at RiverView estate this past fall. The grounds and foliage were stunning at that time of year. As much as we were impressed by the beautiful views, we were infinitely more impressed by the the hospitable service we received. The staff was very accommodating of our needs, and went above and beyond their duties when they got us some last-minute emergency supplies from town. The estate has all the amenities you could ask for -- hot tub, fire pit, pool and hiking trails right next door. Highly recommend the RiverView Estate to anyone looking to book a group trip!

Riverview Estate met our every expectation. Our family of 23, grandparents, 4 adult kids with spouses and a ton of grandchildren enjoyed just about everything this place has to offer. The accommodations were superb, the HUGE kitchen in the entertainment lodge meant we had all our meals together and with two giant tables there was room for all of us to sit together. Pool, pool table, fire pit, hot tubs (one inside and one outside) exercise equipment, sauna, TV's everywhere wifi internet access. Everyone from the 4 year old through the grade school kids on up to the teenagers were happy with what they found. Walks in the woods above the estate and walks along the river below gave plenty of outdoor activity. We traveled 20 minutes to a river tubing location where everyone joined the fun.
We highly recommend Gale Brophy and her wonderful team of support people who assured we had everything we needed for a terrific time

The estate accommodated our family totaling 52 adults and children. The privacy and spacious accommodations allowed everyone to have plenty of room for sleeping, relaxation, food preparation, and even eating as an entire group. All enjoyed the natural beauty of the Catskills including the views of the North Delaware River, daily sightings of deer, turkey, fox, and falcons, and the mountain hiking trails. It was a very pristine and peaceful setting to relax and enjoy the family. The two pools, two hot tubs, sauna, billiard tables, and fire pits were enjoyed by all throughout the entire week. In addition, there was plenty to do in the surrounding towns to entertain all ages. Staff checked in daily to ensure that everything was going well. The commercial kitchen in Deerridge was more than adequate for preparing meals for 50 plus. The family is grateful and well-satisfied with the opportunity to spend this memorable time together at Brophy Estates.

Our multi-family group of 24 had a fantastic time at RiverView. We used the casually comfortable Entertainment Lodge and its open kitchen as our hub for meals, indoor games and hanging out late into the night.
Because the weather was ideal and there was so much for us to do and explore, we stayed on or near the property the whole time. During the day our group went in several directions, with some of us going hiking, walking to the nearby river for wading and fishing, playing basketball and frisbee on the property, and swimming or relaxing by the landscaped pool. At the end of the day we grilled, enjoyed the fire pit and porches, and played games and music in the Lodge.
We rented all three buildings, including the Lodge, House and Cottage, so everyone had space to spread out and get a good night's sleep.
RiverView is a beautiful getaway location with lots of flexible sleeping and hangout space, as well as sprawling outdoor property, lovely views and plenty of privacy. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

As a group of college friends getting together for a wedding, the Riverview estate provided us an incredible place for our weekend. Walking around the estate, from the pool, to the fire pit, down by the barn, and generally through the woods, was gorgeous and made for both great exploring and a great setting to enjoy each other's company. It felt like Riverview could sleep as many people as you could imagine comfortably. The owner stopped by on Saturday, not to hover over our group to see if anything was wrong, but to ask if we were enjoying ourselves and if there is anything she could do for us. The amenities inside the houses, such as the pool table, hot tub, and workout area, were unexpected but terrific additions that really enhanced our weekend. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone with a big group who plans to spend time in the area.

This property was great for our family of 23. We stayed in the main house and entertainment lodge. The latter was perfect entertainment space large enough to accommodate us all, while the main functioned nicely as a quieter getaway for the older members of our family. Gale and her staff were super attentive and very helpful. We would definitely stay again.

The Estates by Brophy location in Fish's Eddy, NY is a beautiful rental. It is made up of three houses on the property and renters can reserve all three or any one of the three based on availability. The houses are located in a secluded area so noise affecting neighbors is definitely not an issue. Views of the mountains and area are wonderful. They have someone on site 24/7 for any facilities related issues. You will find the houses well decorated, "cozy", working fire places, jacuzzi, bbq, enough refrigerator space as needed. includes linens, blankets, etc. Cable, TV and wifi are fantastic amenities. The owners, and managers are a pleasure to work with. This facility is perfect for a getaway, relax, enjoy some quiet time, etc. my family loves the property and looks forward to this get together and so will you.

The Riverview by Brophy property is fantastic. Three houses all on the same property. Each one has its own look and feel. My family has a reunion (approximately 30) and we meet there. The kitchens can hold all the food, there is a fire pit, fireplace, pool table and jaccuzzi. Linens and towels are supplied. secluded and quiet - no worries about noise and neighbors. staff is attentative to any issues that arise. fantastic for getting together, hanging out, relaxing etc.
