Amazing Place

We were a party of 32 people and three dogs. We go away together every new year and this house was more than accommodating for us. Gale was sweet, charming and ready to make sure that we had a great time. The house was clean, spacious and included everything one would want. We would highly recommend it, especially for large families!

Post-Labor Day Stay

My daughter, her boyfriend and I spent a long post-Labor Day weekend here...it was amazing. Clean, staff was attentive and great amenities plus opportunity to just chill out if we wanted to. We toured all the grounds and found them to be consistent and wonderful! We want to come back SOON!!!

Great Family Reunion

DeerRidge is a gorgeous property to fly fish, kayak, or just hang out and play corn toss. The owner,Gale , is so welcoming and has quite a few equestrian stories including about Strike the Gold, the Kentucky Derby winner. Would love to return.

Great place for a large family gathering.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Deer Ridge by Brophy. We have a very large family so we are always looking for a spot where we call eat together. This house had this. We could cook comfortably and gather comfortably for our meals. It was fun to use the pool and sit by the fire pit every night. Great family reunion!

The stay was phenomenal and hosts were very accommodating! Would definitely recommend for large groups. Just remember your bug spray for outdoor fun! Hiking was within walkable distance and my group of 40+ enjoyed immensely!

We had a wonderful stay at DeerRidge this winter. The property was perfect for accommodating our group of nearly 40. The large main kitchen is set up nicely for large gatherings and meals. The location is easily accessible, and boasts a degree of seclusion while also being near enough to retail options in Hancock. Gale and the staff were very helpful and responsive from booking through checkout.
